Prepayments …
A prepayment is an adjustment that your book keeper or accountant might make to smooth costs out over the period that they cover. So for example if you pay for an annual subscription that covers a twelve month period instead of showing the full cost in the month of the invoice you bring in 1/12 each month. To speed up the process you can automate the monthly posting.
